Design office / Conception :
First stage of the transition from the idea to the creation.
First conceptualization on paper.

Wood workshop / Carpentry :
This is where the wood is planed, turned, adjusted, assembled and sanded.

Staining workshop / Varnish / Surface treatmentier :
This is where the solid timber and the resonance surfaces are stained, the pieces are varnished and protected, the textures are worked on and polished, the masks applied and where the sand blasting is done.

Precision workshop : mechanics and adjustment
This is where we make the fittings for the instrument (pegbox, tailpiece, mechanics, bridges, ergonomic supports, ornaments).

Shell and resonating surfaces workshop :
This is where the metallic surfaces and thermally-moulded shells allowing the acoustic expansion are made.

String testing, measuring and fabrication workshop :
The manufacture of new stringed instruments requires strings to be adapted to each instrument and to the specific needs of the musician. In this workshop we exploit different mineral, vegetable, animal and synthetic materials for the sound post of the string as well as its winding.
After the test and calibration bench, the strings are set on the instrument.

Setting up workshop / assembly / adjustment :
This is the most delicate part of instrument making. The precision of the adjustment and the meticulous care required by the setting exploits the instrument’s full potential.
This is where the instrument is assembled and where the bridges, the strings, the saddles, the pegs are tested by playing the instrument.
